Blain MacLeod

Visitation Pastor

Blain MacLeod (BCE, MA, DD), was born and raised in Prince Edward Island. He is the second of eight siblings.  He felt the call to ministry at the age of 5 and was ordained in 1974, although he began his first pastorate in Nova Scotia in 1971.  Blain and his wife Carol have been married for 48 years.  They have two sons, Andrew (Rhonda) and David (Jodi), and 5 grandsons.

After pastoring for 16 years, Blain became the District Director for the Canadian Bible Society for 18 years and then the Fund Development Director for Western Canada with World Relief Canada for 6 years.  He is now in his 7th year on staff here at First Church.  He has hosted 5 tours to the Holy land and one to Europe. Blain enjoys traveling, having visited every state in the USA and been in every province of Canada multiple times.  He is a ventriloquist and loves to do Gospel illusions.  Blain has also taught oil painting classes.  He does not eat mushrooms and has just learned to eat onions.
